Trento, 1983. lives and works in Milan.
After graduating in architecture from the IUAV University in Venice, in 2012 he completed a Master in Photography and Visual Design at NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts) in Milan, and moved to Amsterdam, working both as an assistant to the photographer Hans Van Der Meer and with Paradox. Back in Italy, he began to collaborate with publishers such as Skinnerboox and Genda Magazine, and since 2015 he has worked as a professor at the Carrara Fine Arts Academy of Bergamo. In 2013, he was shortlisted for the first edition of the Francesco Fabbri Prize, and in 2014, together with Milo Montelli, he edited the book A Drop In The Ocean published by Edition Du Lic, winner of the Prina Prize and displayed on the occasion of Fotografia Europea in Reggio Emilia. In 2015, he was selected once more with the same project for the Francesco Fabbri Prize, and was invited to present his work at the Winterthur Fotomuseum on the occasion of Pla(t)form. A finalist at the Prix Levallois 2015 (Paris), together with the publishing house Skinnerboox, he published Die Deutsche Punkinvasion, which was then displayed during the Fotopub Festival of Novo Mesto (Slovenia). In September 2015, he was chosen from among the 21 young talents on the international photography scene by Foam Magazine with the work A Failed Entertainment, displayed at the Atelier Neerlandais (Paris), De Markten (Brussels) and the Beaconsfield Gallery (London). With the same project in 2016 he won the Graziadei prize and exhibited his work at MACRO (Rome) and also at Festival Fotografia Europea (Reggio Emilia) where he presented the book published by Skinnerboox. Impasse is his first solo show featuring his last series The Long Thing. From 2016 he has been represented by Viasaterna.
